To estimate container loading capacity, you need the carton length, width and height, carton weight and the internal dimensions and payload of the selected container. How many cartons fit in a 40 FT container?
There is no single fixed number. Larger cartons, heavier products and inefficient packing can significantly reduce the number of cartons that can be loaded.
How do I calculate CBM for container shipping?
CBM is calculated from length × width × height in metres. For multiple identical cartons, multiply the CBM of one carton by the number of cartons.
What is the difference between a 40 FT and 40 HC container?
A 40 HC container generally provides additional internal height compared with a standard 40 FT container, increasing available volume.
