Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between exclusive and inclusive GST?

Exclusive means GST is added on top of the amount. Inclusive means the amount already includes GST and the calculator backs out the taxable value.

When should I use CGST+SGST vs IGST?

Use Intra-State (CGST+SGST) when supplier and place of supply are in the same state. Use Inter-State (IGST) for supplies across states or for exports (as applicable under GST law).
